More Art on the Hill

-
Here's another example of the growing arts district in St. Anne's Hill. Dayton Public Schools unveiled a new outdoor sculpture at Stivers High School for the Arts on Tuesday. According to the Dayton Daily News website:
The sculpture was created by students under the direction of [Jason] Dryden and fellow adjunct Justin Teilhet. It was cut from a 6-foot by 8-foot piece of quarter-inch plate steel weighing more than 400 pounds.
The sculpture is located in front of the school on East Fifth Street.

Side note: Stivers' teacher Jason Dryden is also a founding member of the incredible folk-rock band, Sleepybird.
